So my girlfriend and I were planning on going to India this summer. My plan is to visit Mumbai for five days, and then go up north to visit the 'golden triangle', delhi, jaipur and agra for another two weeks. We are both students, and obviously money concious, but I have no idea how much a trip would cost as neither of us have been there before. We already looked at plane tickets for around 400 pounds return. We would be staying in budget hotels, hostels, etc, not eating at fancy restaurants, mainly stalls and cheap places, travel by train between city and city, etc. I don't know if you get the idea, but quite a budgeted luxury free trip, we just want to get to know the places.
